The Big Finale
The city of Star City looked deserted. The citizens had either fled or had been turned into black lanterns. At the heart of the city was the entity known as Nekron. Nekron used the city as his base as his black lanterns ravaged the Earth.

The black lanterns increased their numbers each day and the power levels of the black lantern battery increased with each person that died.

Soon Nekron would have enough power to obliterate all life on this planet.

"It's okay. Part of being a hero, right? Doing the impossible and all that jazz?"

The ring begins to fill again, but there is no warning this time. He's being topped off. But when he closes his eyes, he begins to see something...odd.

Michael was sitting there on the beach. He knew this beach: it was the one that was closest to his home. And it wasn't crowded like it usually is. Its nice and clean and its warm.

But not as warm as the woman who is wrapped up in his arms, sitting right in front of him. He doesn't see her face at first, but the intimacy, the closeness, it's all there. Then she tips her head back and flashes a smile.

"Isn't this great, Michael?"

Michael smiles back and nods at Traya, and he leans in to kiss her and-

"Whoa."

	"Saw something weird. Must've been the end of this mess." Michael couldn't tell her. She was still Jais girl in his mind. But... What did that vision mean? Was dead-Jai right?
