The Big Finale
The city of Star City looked deserted. The citizens had either fled or had been turned into black lanterns. At the heart of the city was the entity known as Nekron. Nekron used the city as his base as his black lanterns ravaged the Earth.

The black lanterns increased their numbers each day and the power levels of the black lantern battery increased with each person that died.

Soon Nekron would have enough power to obliterate all life on this planet.

The Hawks heard the call and headed to Star City, ready to do battle with those who bore the power of the different lights.

Khufu scanned the battlefield and found his desired target: the daughter of the weakling.

"It is time to die, girl." he says.

Chay-ara was right beside Khufu, splitting off slightly when she located the boy.

"Pay attention, child. Your sister is going to beg, then we'll kill you, too."

"Warhawk, we've got company!" Hawkgirl yelled for her brother as she flew away from Khufu and Chay-ara, trying to put some distance there as she swung around to meet up with Rex.

Warhawk looks toward his sister and sees that she's being pursued by the imposter. This time, Rex smiles as he sees them.

Now it's on.

"Let's do this, Hawkgirl!" he yells, taking flight to match speed with his sister.

"Okay, Feathers. We're gonna do this together. You and me.

I love you, Pnnt." Rex says, creating a mace and sword from pure (WILL).

"Look. They even try to fight as we do, Chay-ara. Tear them apart as we did their parents. We will wait no longer to bring them the peace of oblivion." Khufu says, streaking forth to harry Hawkgirl.

"I love you, too, big brother. Time to be big Hawks now."

With a deeply gutteral cry Hawkgirl goes straight towards Khufu, swinging at him and also at Chay-ara with violet-hued fists.

Rex parries the mace strike with his sword and levels an emerald hued spiked mace at Chay-ara's head.

"Bitch, please. My mother fights better than that and she's a middle-aged woman. She'd mop the floor with you if you were in your prime and she taught me to fight the moment I could stand up." Rex says, continuing the onslaught.

"But I'm not just a Hawk. I'm also the son of one of the most powerful Green Lanterns to out there. A man who dealt with fear every day of his life and then some." Rex says.

He slashes at her with the sword, then attempts to knock Khufu off-course by swinging at him and forcing him to dodge.

Khufu does indeed have to dodge the blow, taking a blast from Hawkgirl in the process and grunting in shock.

"You two are /nothing/ to us! Nothing! You are worthless copies of a copies and you will die screaming!" he snarls.

He charges at Nic, trying to knock her out of the sky, down to the ground.
