The Battle For Oa
They appeared out of nowhere in space above Oa. The element of surprise was with them and for a brief moment there were no black lanterns to be seen.

"Alright boys and girls, it's time to do this. We win here or the universe dies."

No pressure at all.

	"Oh, look at that! I found one of Dexy's buttons. You've got a thing for the La Blue Girl, do you?" Hal sneers. "Why don't we see what's in her heart where you're concerned." 	The piece of building smacked into Rose, knocking her out of the air. Rose fell from the sky, barreling into another Blue Lantern. The pair fell, landing in the wreckage of a building in the city. A single Blue Lantern Ring flew up and past Dex and Hal, seeking a successor. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	At this point, Hal Jordan flies off, intent on leading Dex straight into another pack of Black Lanterns so that they can all tear him apart. The guy is lit like a giant beacon right about now, so it's impossible for the others not to see him. "Sorry, Dex. I don't speak Neanderthal and my new ring doesn't translate it, either!" 	Dex charged in. Sure he was a green lantern, but right now he was also a red. That meant he had the power of two lanterns, albeit slightly weakened. He yelled and started blasting away with both rings. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Hal and the remaining Black Lanterns turn and fire at Dex, but one by one, they fall against the onslaught. Still, there are more of them than there are of him, and they inch ever closer to Dex, threatening to tear him asunder. "You can't win, Dex! Just give up!" Even the mighty Hal Jordan, one of the Greatest Green Lanterns ever cannot withstand Dex's assault forever. Though he holds out longer than any other Black Lantern, the combination of Rage and Will batter his defenses and eventually tear through him like a torrent.

But before he dies, Hal smirks at Dex.

"You'll always be a slave, Dex. No matter how far you run, you'll never be free. You'll just...keep trading...one master...for another."

//Connection Severed.//

And with that, Hal Jordan disintegrates into a pile of ash.
