Was the third time a charm? Or a habit? Whatever it was, she had to admit surprise to see the blond head on the street again, especially so soon after the last time. He didn't appear to limp. Maybe he just healed that quickly.
Instead of getting his attention the same way she had before, Zoe made her way down to the street and fell into step a half block behind Sliver. Just enough to get attention if he was lost, but not enough to startle him into trying to beat her with his stick.
