Ty never knew his dad. All he really knows is that he was a conflicted soul, who died after almost destroying the Justice League. To have a father, parents, and so much going for her, he can't have Cait have that squandered to.
"Your daughter is an amazing person. Can't you try and get to know her for what she is instead of trying to make her what you want her to be? Go ahead... attack me again, hit me if its going to make you feel better. Kick my ass all over the city... I rebuilt it once, in case you didn't notice. I'll do it again if I have to. I don't care.
