Cait walked back up with her parents. She only had to get through breakfast. Then her parents would probably leave and life could go back to normal.

"That smells great," Cait said as they entered the kitchen. She gave Ty a reassuring smile. So far Daddy wasn't in a hitting mood. Cait just hoped he stayed that way.
