Frisco Blues (Titans)
It started as any other morning in San Francisco. The sun came up in the East and people climbed from the beds to start their day.

The Titans in Titans Tower were starting their day. Their new sister team from the East were visiting for a meeting to discuss the current situation. While they were inside making plans, the waters of the Pacific started to churn. Waves kicked up and dark clouds blocked out the light of the sun.

The water quickly pulled back from the shore and things were calm for the briefest of moments. Then a huge tsunami crashed ashore and water flooded the lower half of the city.

Initially - just the reaction he was looking for. Getting a rise out of Trigon - more he can draw on. The shaking and frothing grows worse, and any remnant of anything demonic grows weaker - but only for a few moments.

The hand lifts to his head like he has a splitting headache, his eyes fix on Ruth. The blackened hand reaches for her, a blast emits forth - but the yellow and violet rings flash of their own accord, and a two-colored shield bubble springs to life before Ruth just before she can be struck.

"No. No! You bitch! You can't... get out of my head!"

The yellow and violet intensify - then bleed into Ruth, who is now positively glowing white. The radiance washes over Ty - and the blackened hand is gone, the shaking and boiling stopped.

He floats for a moment more, then drops into the water like a stone.

	Iris pulls him up out of the water as he slowly regains his senses. He blinks a couple times, then shakes his head. "No... no, I'm not ok. I've... I've seen their plans. We have to get out of here. They're just playing with us." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
