Cthulu Rises
Out of the temple doors in the bay comes an ancient evil creature. It is Cthulu himself. He roars loudly then snatches up several cultists and eats them. The frightened screams of the others fill the air. His gaze turns to the shore and then he begins to walk.

His march towards the shore begins and he doesn't notice anything else just yet.

Alina gives up her address, a little reluctantly. Not that she doesn't think she can trust this guy, but she doesn't want him imploding his brain by shouting all the way to El Paso when he's too pooped to actually talk.

"They go by Damper and Bonita, but if you get Scour or Thump or Piñata, that's fine too. Or if a known hero would be easier for you, you can contact Blue Beetle, and he can get in touch with them. He might fuss a bit about me being not home, but he'll stop if you ask him too."

It takes several minutes, homing in on the right region, sorting thousands, then hundreds, then dozens of thought patterns out from each other until he finds the right ones. Range isn't much of a problem, not compared to following Cait all over, or using telepathy while fighting Cthulhu's influence. This almost feels good by comparison.

And right now, as much as he's been running on high power use, its almost easier to use telepathy than talking, totally different parts of the brain.

	"Tell them that they're supposed to ask for a codeword and my answer is 'espejo'." 'Espejo' means that all is well. He extends his thoughts, relaying the message, and focusing a few moments longer.

You want me to keep a low level link with you, in case you need anything? I'm guessing most others are already asleep.//

	He relaxes, trying to remember speech centers, communication, basic functions, not needing to run his powers at such a high level. It takes a little bit of adjustment. "There's empty rooms down that hall. Just grab one. The closet there should have extra blankets. I'll find a pillow or two for you. Thanks for all your help. I'm Tyler, by the way, Tyler Darnell." 	Alina laughs a little. Wow, they never had gotten around to exchanging names, had they? "Alina Vasquez. I'm just glad I could help." Things are getting a little fuzzy now, but she still recalls enough of it to be relieved that they are. Alina follows him to the spare room in question and makes for the closet to grab the blankets.

"I'm glad one of us knows, 'cause I was winging it like crazy," she says, plopping down on the edge of the bed. She toes her battered sneakers off onto the carpet and flops over backward. She knows she's going to regret sleeping in her fishnets when she wakes up tangled in them, but she'll deal with that when she wakes up and not a moment sooner.

He notices the look, considering it for a moment. He guesses at her size, then transmutes one of the extra blankets into a set of pajamas. Probably not perfect, but they should fit ok.

"There you go, let me know if they don't fit, you can put them on after I..."

He pauses, creating clothes finally leaves him aware of the bit of a draft. He looks down, blushes, and then the all powerful boy squeaks. He's cleaned off the acid, and the acid, well, pretty well otherwise cleaned everything off him that wasn't impervious. Oh god.

	Alina blinks at the squeak. And she'd been thinking that he was super-confident and had excellent body-image. Made her glad that she'd been politely not looking anywhere south of his shoulders. He probably could transmute some, or make yellow clothing, or teleport or something. Not that he has anything to be ashamed of, other than a typical geekboy physique, even if he's actually far stronger, but still... apparently he just hadn't noticed, and now he's lost composure enough that instead of doing any of those things, he just bolts for his room, streaking the tower.

He's dressed before there's anything further, and even then, he can't bring himself to face her.

//There'll be breakfast in the morning. Let me know if you need anything.//
