Training
One of the good things about being a YJLA reservist was that Hope got access to all of their training facilities. While the at-home gym that she had at her house was nicely equipped, Hope enjoyed taking advantage of the training simulators and if she could find one, having a sparring partner. Rex was always fun to spar with, but a change of pace never hurt.

Hope was dressed in a simplified version of her armor that she normally wore when she was training, as this one allowed her to move more freely, and her head wasn't covered.

Currently, she was running a training simulator, enjoying smashing some robots with both her fists and her Mega Rod.

Once inside the med bay, Svalin ripped off her shirt. It was already bloodstained from her broken nose and it was easier to rip it than pull it over her head with her broken ribs.

"It hath been some time since I had injures like this from a sparring match. Used to be a common thing when I wouldst spar against mine brother."

There had been many broken bones during her childhood and teens.

She saw the wince. "They look far worse than they art. I wilt be fine in a few days," she assured him.

"It ist just a shirt," she said. For some reason she could almost hear Vernique lamenting over the shirt and the comment. "It belonged to mine future self."

Svalin nodded. "I wilt. Then we wilt share tales of our adventures in the past few months over cups of mead."

	He's careful about the bandages, but makes sure they're on firmly enough to do their job, once he's checked for breaks. "Yeah, as long as I've had enough sunlight, anyway. 	She stood still while he wrapped her ribs. She rather enjoyed that he had to get close to do it. "Interesting. Asgardians art somewhat the same. We art hard to hurt and heal easy. He finds himself returning the kiss, trying to be careful of her ribs. He draws back slightly when the kiss breaks.

"We... should talk. I... made a big mistake last night. Not... not the sleeping together, or being with you. I really like you... but I knew better than to not use protection, and that mistake could have a big impact on your life. I wish I could go back and fix it, or had something more to offer than to say I'm sorry."
