Meet and Greet
The Avengers were shown to quarters in the YJLA headquarters and given some time to get cleaned up and settle in. When the allotted time was up everyone on both sides were called to the meeting room. It would be a time to do formal introductions and figure out why the Avengers were here.

Svalin found the room without any problems and entered. It was empty and she took a seat in a chair that allowed her a good view of the door.

"Dimensional travelers are unusual, certainly. Otherwise, the primary weirdness lately, by our standards, has been something of a... rash of deaths among the community. Its almost as if someone has declared war, veterans and the younger generation alike. There's always danger in our profession, of course... but its been trying for everyone." he responds, before letting someone else continue the narrative.

Is that blonde woman... staring at him? He usually wouldn't notice, but there's just... something about her.

Svalin cleared her throat and somehow found her voice as heat receded from her cheeks.

"Kang. His name ist Kang and he doth travel through time and dimensions trying to find a way to rule them all. In our past experiences he hath given local people very advanced technology and the means to o'ercome their enemies. To keep things as they shouldst be, mine team hath been following him and battling these groups that he hath been giving this future tech to."

"I'm not ure of the origin of the weapon that killed my father, or what prompted some of the other attacks. Its possible your adversary had something to do with it - but we can't be certain. As far as we can tell, much of what we just faced was magical in nature. I honestly haven't seen anything technological I don't recognize though, or at least anything more obviously advanced than what's known. I can send word and check with some of our associates, certainly. Until then, we can try and help you settle in here while you look. I wish we could offer more help or say something definite - but you've arrived at a rough time for a lot of people."
