Jane is helping the guards out. She knew it was perfectly normal they thought she was a cop. She wasn't going to go against it. They were making sure that the less dangerous in-patients where protected.
But now she and the four she was with were in trouble. They were pinned down in one area having a shoot out with some of the more dangerous ones who had gotten a hold of some guns.
She rubs her face and glances at the guards. If they couldn't figure out what to do about that group up ahead they were in trouble. Smoke and fires might provide some cover for someone to sneak up on them and taken them out but she wasn't that confident in her skills.
