Visitors From Another Dimension
It had been simple, very simple, and he couldn't be happier. Lex Luthor was dead. Superman was dead. Now the Justice League would be destroyed. It was the ultimate victory and it was his. He had succeeded where all others had failed. They lured them out with some random violence on ground of their choosing and then attacked.

“Now. Destroy them,” he said to his “team”.

He was invisible as he wore a helm similar to Hades'. The shadowy figure raised the trident in his hand and struck it on the ground. The ground began to rumble and shake as an earthquake shook Metropolis. He smiled and hurled the lightning bolt in his hand at the son of Superman. It was time to kill the son like he had killed the father. The Kryptonian couldn't fight what he couldn't see.

Lyta was busy controlling the demon like beings she had summoned using the Pandoran Box. The demons were currently attacking Corinna, the Amazon. In addition to her minions she wielded the Chronian Sickle which boosted her magical abilities. She was driving the Amazon back it was just a matter of moments until the Amazon fell.

Kandra had taken on the male Green Lantern and had used her yellow and violet rings against him. The man had held his own for quite awhile, but eventually Kandra had overpowered him. She was using the yellow ring to beat him into the ground.

Serendipity shouted “SIVANA!” and the proceeded to take on the new Firestorm. She called down the thunderbolt and hit Firestorm with it. Then proceeded to use her strength and speed against him.

Devil Ray was holding his own against the Atlantean, but neither one seemed to have the advantage. Though Devil Ray did wear the Cape of Leviathan hide and would not be hurt by the Atlantean's blows.

Ocelot was running circles, literally, around the Gardner girl while M'stee M'ai used her Kyptonian like powers to shoot heat beams from her eyes at Petra.

Fury attacked Alina and blinded the magic user with a burst of light brighter than the sun. As soon as Alina was temporarily blinded, she attacked with fists while as dense as she could be.

The Young Justice League was against the ropes and it would only be a matter of moments before they would be defeated at the hands of a shadowy figure and his team.

Well, that was... honestly what he should have expected.

The newcomers, on the other hand, are a distinct problem. Why is it that every time they get rid of 5 or 6 heroes, there's suddenly a new group rising to take their place? One would think someone was trying to drive comic book sales or something.

Damien taps a button and sets all of the robots to self-destruct. Wonderful distraction, may yet injure a few heroes, and makes sure the heroes won't be able to get anything useful off of damaged robots.

"Retreat." he calls calmly into his silent subvocal mike. Time to teleport out of there and figure out what's going on.

"Dollface, see if you can find out who these people are." He resists calling them interlopers. His father is dead, his oerblown vocabulary can damned well die with him.

	Svalin helped /him/, she hadn't asked him his name yet, over to where everyone seemed to be gathering. Then the robots exploded and Svalin used her body to shield his. He was the one who was hurt and she didn't know how much more he could take. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

The explosions are definitely a distraction, and by the time they've settled, the villains are gone. By then, Jon is also mostly steady, obviously injured, but holding up better.

"Thanks for the help, Cosmopolitan, Svalin. You were saying you and your friends are... the Avengers, was it?" He doesn't introduce himself right off - after all, he's used to everyone knowing who he is, at least.

Sif and Thor? Oh, that's not good news at all. He's about to ask if Surt has escaped the eternal Ragnarok, then he hears the rest of the dimensional bit - ok, so maybe not /this/ dimension's Sif and Thor.

"I don't know anything about anyone named Kang, but we appreciate the help. I'm Superboy, this is the Young Justice League of America.... and, as for weird... wow, there's a lot of that. We should find somewhere to talk."

That's all Jon has a chance to say before the crowd descends.

In the Avenger's world, this usually means anti-mutant fanatics, crowds kept back by authorities, or a mixed reception at best.

Here, however, the responses are... unusual.

"Wow, that was incredible!"
"Is that a real pegasus?"
"With that American shield, are you saying you're the new Star-Spangled Kid?"
"Can I have your autograph?"
"Me too!"

Luisa moves with the crowd, staying hidden in their midst and waiting til she can approach one of the new heroes amidst the swarm - and offer them a notebook and pen, while asking shyly if she might have their autograph.
