"Awesome. I can't wait." Conner says with a smile.
Then an odd look crosses his face and he tilts his head to the side as though he were trying to hear something.
When Conner finally nails down the sound, he realizes that it's already too late.
"Mia, get all the kids somewhere safe, now!" he says, standing up and grabbing his backpack.
