Conner manages to get out from under the table, making a little more of a show of it than necessary.
"I'm okay!" he says, looking up at Mia as the first of the little kids come in. A lot of them say hello to Mia, while some of them wave at the new guy. Conner waves back and stands up, getting the table back in place.
One girl, Kelly, runs up and hugs Mia. "Hi Mia! Who's the new guy?"
She points at Conner, who is getting his glasses back on.
