To say she was without words would have been an understatement. She felt as if she'd walked into a biker bar and yelled something like 'Yay Valley' and everyone was staring at her. What sort of girlfriend was she?
"Oh, baby..." she said softly, sliding her arm around her neck to hug him as she pursed her lips. "I'm sorry...I'm so sorry."
It was the only think she could think to say as she held on to him. She squeezed his hand, nuzzling the side of his head gently. "It wasn't your fault, you know? And you don't have to keep it all locked in. You've nothing to apologize for."
