Even as she heard Frankie coming, heard her door shut behind her, heard the gentle knock on her own door, she was holding her breath. She could do this. She had to keep calm, she wasn't going to freak out; she wasn't in the wrong here.
Not really, anyway.
Jumping up from her bed with a vigor she hadn't felt or displayed in days, she ambled her way over and opened the door. She tried a smile, mostly just quirking up one side of her lips goofily. "Hey," she said quietly, stepping aside to let her girlfriend in.
