Characters: Seraphim Donnelly-Rousseau and Mackenzie Dubinsky Setting: Mackenzie's Room, Wednesday Evening Rating: SFW Summary: Sera stops by Mack's room for a visit. After spending the better half of Tuesday afternoon cooped up in the library, heavily focused on getting through atleast a few chapters for History of Magic and Latin, Sera packed up her things and got ready to head back to her room. Pushing open the front door of the library and stepping outside, Sera took a deep breath, squinting slightly as the bright afternoon sun hit her face. She held her books under one arm and walked casually back towards the Sonnier House. Having already finished all her homework and thensome for the evening Sera decided to take a quick stop by Mack's room to chat, or atleast tell her how crazy Tatum had been acting lately. She couldn't believe Tatum had actually tried to tell her she couldn't talk to her why did she care so much if they were friends anyway. Sera couldn't help but find it at least a little funny. Reaching Mackenzie's door, she held out a hand and knocked twice. Tags: !incomplete, mackenzie dubinsky, seraphim donnelly-rosseau

Mackenzie was chewing her lip, brows furrowed in concentration as she pushed her reading glasses up her nose slightly. She was putting the finishing touches on a particularly difficult essay for Spell Theory. It had taken her all afternoon, and she was extremely over the stupid thing. She sometimes hated her anal streak when it came to school, she didn’t care about skipping class every once in a while or getting into trouble but she sure as hell made up for it with her grades. She didn’t even know what she wanted to do when she graduated, but she had always taken pride in her high marks.
She finished typing her conclusion and stretched, cracking her neck and closing her eyes.
“Thank god,” She murmured as she hit the save button.
She was a bit surprised to hear a light knocking at her door, she had been holed up inside her room since classes had gotten out and hadn’t even left to get dinner. She stood up from her desk and crossed to the door.
“Well, well, well, if it isn’t Little Sister Donnelly!” She said upon opening the door, a friendly smirk on her face. “What’s cooking good lookin’? Wanna come in? Oh, but don’t tell your sister I asked because she’d cut my non-existent balls off.”

Mackenzie laughed and sat down on her desk chair backwards so she could rest her arms on the back. “God she makes me sound like some kind of pedo or something,” she scoffed, scrunching up her face. “You should have heard her threatening me on Sunday, she was like, ready to break my arm. Apparently I can’t just be friends with hot girls.” She flailed her arms for emphasis, “She was all, ‘don’t sleep with my sister, you’re gross blah blah blah!’ and then said something about tits and killing me.” She laughed again, shaking her head. “Dude, your sister is a weirdo sometimes.”
She drummed her fingers on the back of her chair as she turned this little piece of information over in her mind. “I doubt it,” she said eventually, frowning slightly. “She and I are just friends, and she’s got Frankie anyway. Besides, every time I flirt with her she calls me gross or a pig or insinuates that I am sexually harassing her.” Mackenzie shrugged, “Like I said, weirdo sometimes.”

“Oh I told her that was the case,” Mackenzie said smirking slightly at the girls blush. She never missed anything that had to do with blushing women, she was an expert at it after all. “She seemed to disagree that I’m what all the bitches want, I think she is in denial.” She laughed at this and shook her head, “You ever notice how much she protests? It’s excessive at times. At least she is the cute, adorable kind of weird.”
At the words bad influence Mackenzie snorted, and stuck out her tongue. “Oh I am a bad influence my dear, but I promise I will do my best not to corrupt you.” She held up her index finger and middle finger in salute. “Girl scouts honor or whatever!” She smirked slightly, “I think she’s more afraid that I’m going to seduce you and have my way with you, then tell her all the juicy details. Which I told her that I wouldn‘t do unless you wanted me to.”
“Honestly, she should trust me a little more! I look out for her and shit!” Mackenzie huffed, trying to look genuinely hurt but failing when she laughed. “No appreciation at all.”
“Anyway, what’s new with you Little Sister?” She asked, leaning forward on the back of the chair again. “I’m sure you didn’t come over to hear me rant about how your sister thinks I’m a sex addict.”

"She's crazy you could probably get whatever bitches you want." Sera paused, laughing at herself a little for actually using the word bitch, it was so not like her to refer to women in that way. Leaning back a little on her hands, Sera grinned over at Mackenzie. "You're definitely confident enough that's for sure." She found it funny sometimes just how different Mackenize was from her sister, but how they still managed to get along so well. "I have noticed that actually, I may of teased her about her wanting to sleep with you and she flipped. I was like dude calm down I was kidding."
Shaking her head slightly, Sera smiled, "Oh don't worry I'll be fine I'm not as easy to corrupt as Tatum seems to think I am. Maybe if I let you." Sera assured her, flirting back a little more than she knew she should. "It's nice of you to promise though." She giggled, raising her hand and saluting the older girl back. "You wouldn't what, try to seduce me, or tell her the juicy details?" She asked finally, with a coy little smirk.
"I know you do." Sera laughed back, even if she did agree completely. "You must, she's practically afraid of her shadow when she's not around you."
“Not much really, I'm was just on my way back from the library, thought I'd stop in and say hi" Sera smiled across at Mack leaning forward a little herself and resting her elbows on her knees. "and maybe to have a little rant of my own about how she thinks she can tell me who I'm allowed to hang around with." Sera huffed, laughing a little as we did. "I think were even." She added more seriously. "So what's new with you?"

“Don’t I know it!” She boasted, grinning. “I usually do get the ladies as a matter of fact, but there have been a few that somehow resist the Dubinsky charm.” She shrugged and rolled her eyes, laughing. “Tater would flip out about that, I can see it now. I bet she was all wide eyed and offended. She can be such a prude sometimes, silly Tater tot. It’s a good thing I have a large ego, or I might think I was horribly disfigured from the amount of times she completely flipped over the suggestion of us sleeping together.”
Mackenzie smirked at the younger girl, “You just let me know princess, it’d be my utmost pleasure to corrupt you. I’ll be really gentle,” She added winking. “I promise.” She knew that she was going to a special part of hell for that one but she couldn’t help herself. She found it extremely entertaining, and it kept her spirits high to think about the amount of shit loss Tatum would have if she heard her talking to her little sister that way.
“Both?” She asked, trying to look as innocent as possible. “More so the seducing than the juicy details. Unless of course you didn’t mind the seducing part, because I only told her I wouldn’t try if you weren’t DTF.” She grinned wickedly, snickering a little and bouncing her foot. Boundaries really didn’t mean a thing to the blonde, they were more like challenges waiting to be overcome. She wouldn’t let anything happen with Sera though, she had meant what she said to Tatum about their friendship being more important. But she never said she wouldn’t joke about it.
“Exactly! That girl,” Mackenzie shook her head as she thought about the paranoid red head. As much as she teased and harassed the girl because of it, she was extremely protective due to the paranoia she had. “She’s just extremely adorable all the time, how could I not look out for her? Someone has to!”
“Well you’re welcome to rant all you want Little Sister,” Mackenzie laughed. “And there’s not much new here either. I won a bet that I could get free food at the movies by seducing a girl? Got her number and some free nachos. That’s new I suppose.”

Rolling her eyes just slightly, when Mack winked at her, she had to admit the girl did have some game. Sera leaned forward, looking Mack in the eyes, teasing again, more than she knew she should but kind of liking it. "I will certainly try to remember that, if I ever need corrupting you'll be the first person I call but unfortunately for you, I quite enjoy being a good girl." Grinning bigger and lowering her voice just slightly, as if someone else could hear if she didn't, she continued "That doesn't mean I necessarily like it gentle though." She knew Tatum would kill her and Mack for that matter if she heard either of them talking that way. Tatum didn't want her even talking to the older girl, talk about sex, was definitely off limits.
"Wait! You told my sister you were going to seduce me? She must have lost her mind.." Sera trailed off unable to keep from laughing. Just thinking about what Tatum's face must of looked like was more than enough for her, it must have been priceless. "In all seriousness though." the brunette added, still not completely over her giggles. "Tell my sister she has nothing to worry about.. I mean not that I don't think you're gorgeous, older hot blonds are totally my type, after all but I could never do that to Jenny." Just the mention of her girlfriend's name brought a goofy little smile to Sera's face.
"If by adorable you completely awkward and antisocial?" Sera smirked, only half-kidding around. As much as she also liked to tease her sister, she had noticed a difference, maybe it was just all the weed she smoked, but Sera knew it had at least a little to do with her hanging out with people like Mack and Frankie. Maybe they weren't the best influences but they had more backbone then she knew her sister ever would. "I try but she doesn't exactly like her little sister trying to take care of her. She's says I'm too much like my mother." Sera smirked, rolling her eyes again, and this time actually meaning it.
"Really? that's kind of awesome. I assume Tatum was on the losing end of that one was she?" She grinned, pausing just for a second or two, "Do you think you'll actually call her or was it all about bragging rights?"

“It’s always the good girls that end up corrupted in the end,” Mackenzie warned, grinning slyly. She was sure that Tatum would have a heart attack if she saw the way they were shamelessly flirting with each other. Not that she minded, even if Sera was off limits it was still fun. “I can be rough if that’s what you want babe,” she suggested seductively, wiggling her eyebrows. “That’s pretty hot Little Sister, not going to lie.”
“Actually, I never actually said anything about getting into your pants,” She explained laughing. “I just mentioned that you should come to movie night and said you were cute. She’s the one who started bringing up us sleeping together and how I am an indecent scum bag for trying to get with you while you have a girlfriend.” She grinned like a child who had gotten an early Christmas. “She also told me no sexting with you, even if you sexted me first.” Mackenzie just shook her head, still grinning. Tatum always assumed the worst out of her, even when she was trying to be decent. “God you Donnelly girls and your girlfriends, you both get the same goofy ass look on your faces when you’re thinking about them.”
“She’s cute when she get’s all awkward,” Mackenzie defended, biting her lip. “The antisocial stuff is just who she is, if you stay quiet long enough she’ll start opening up. She just needs to feel comfortable first.” She wasn’t exactly sure why she was defending the redhead to her sister, she was sure that her sister knew all of that anyway. “She can be pretty stubborn sometimes, but I just keep pestering her until she gives in.”
She laughed, nodding her head in answer to Sera‘s question. “Yeah, she lost pretty badly. Plus, she couldn’t keep staring at the girls ass, turned into a nervous wreck.” Mackenzie shrugged, “I don’t know. Maybe? She’s a muggle, 19, cute enough. But it’s not exactly like I can tell her about my life you know?”

Grinning back at Mackenzie, Sera let out a little laugh, "I don't know if they end up corrupted in the end or are just better at hiding it in the beginning." Standing up just for a second to adjust her skirt under herself, she politely sat back down. "People think I'm like this perfect little goody-goody whose incapable of doing anything bad and I guess for the most part I am but that doesn't mean I'm like some sort of nun or something, I just don't let many people see that side of me." Leaning back a little, shifting again on the bed, Sera giggled again. "Being a teachers pet," which Sera would never dispute she was, "and following the rules does have it's advantages though." Sera paused again with almost a devilish little grin. "I can pretty much get away with anything I want. I bet you could tell any teacher in this school you straight up saw me doing something and they wouldn't believe you."
"Why would she start that if she was just going to get upset about it." Sera asked, giving Mack a little smirk and shaking her head slightly at how ridiculous her sister could be sometimes. "She really should give you more credit, and me for that matter, you're not a scumbag, a blatant flirt for sure but not a scumbag." Sera laughed, "besides if you really wanted to get in my pants so bad you would have done it while I was single.. and I probably would have let you for that matter." Sera admitted, blushing slightly but trying her best again to hide it.
Sticking out her bottom lip and pouting slightly over at mack Sera tried to look as upset as she could but only managed to keep it up for a short time before she had to laugh, "What? no sexting? Whatever am I going to do every night before bed?" The stuff Tatum came up with sometimes was just too funny. "I should send you something dirty sometime when I know you're with her just to see what she does." Sera joked. When Mack noticed and commented on the goofy face Sera was making, she smiled shyly as if she just got caught doing something she shouldn't but still not completely able to wipe the look off her face. "What face, I don't know what you're even talking about."
It didn't escape her just how many times Mack had said just how cute or adorable she thought Tatum was. Her and Tatum were best friends, but to Sera it seemed like maybe there was more to it than that. She'd been in love with he own best friend forever, and still was only now Jenny felt the same way, so it wasn't like she was completely clueless when it came to that sort of thing. And when she heard Mack talk about Tatum she couldn't help but be reminded of how she acted before she had confessed her crush to Jenny.
"You know Mack, you go on an awful lot about how cute and adorable my sister is." Sera paused, grinning slightly as she eyed Mack across the room watching her expression. "Do you have like a big fat crush on her or something?" She giggled a little, as if she was only just teasing.
The smirk on her face over hearing about Tatum turning into a nervous wreck to to a slight frown when the blond mentioned the girl being a muggle. She knew exactly what Mack meant, not that she ever had a crush on a muggle but she did have quite a few friends. Friends she went to muggle primary with and had to cut almost all ties with when she moved on to Crescent City Lower Institute. Part of it was of course the distance, they were back in Maine sfterall but part of it was also the whole magic thing. It was just too hard to hide. "I know what you mean, it's always hard with muggles, I mean it happens, my dads a muggle and he fell in love with not just one but two witches, still it can't be easy."

Mackenzie stared at Sera, a shocked expression on her face. She had never in her years of trouble making had she ever thought that flying under the radar by sucking up would be fool proof. She supposed this was why she was on the honor roll, girl had brains. “Well, that is the smartest fucking thing I’ve ever heard,” She said, grinning. “It’s not like I personally could test that, because I am me, and no teacher believes anything I say, regardless who it’s about. I just don’t understand why they could possibly think that I, of all people, would lie!” She threw her head back and laughed. “I’m practically a nun!”
“I don’t know why she brought it up to be honest, that girl always assumes the worst!” Mackenzie said, pouting slightly. She knew that Tatum had been joking when she called her a scumbag, it was a term of endearment when it came from the redhead. Along with asshole, pig and gross. “I mean, exactly! If I was gonna get in your pants I would have already executed that plan! But hey,” she said, grinning flirtatiously at the younger girl. “If you’re ever single, give me a call Little Sister.
”You know how much Tatum would freak out if you texted me something dirty? Like, she told me it didn’t even matter if you started it, I’d be responsible. She’d like, kill me dude. I’m too young and good looking to die! Do you know how many babes would mourn the loss of this?” She made a gesture at her entire body, grinning stupidly. “It would be like, loosing MLK or something.”
“You totally know what face I’m talking about,” She teased, poking Sera in the cheek. “That one that you get when you think about Jenny,” she sang the girls name in a sappy voice. “Like, when you think about how cute she is or whatever it is that you think. I hope you don’t get that face when you think about touching her. Cause that would be kind of weird knowing, and I’d probably have to tell your sister to freak her out.”
At Sera’s question Mackenzie snorted in laughter, probably just a little too loudly. She waved her hand as if to dismiss Sera’s idea. “Do I have a crush on Tatum? No, she’s my best friend ever. And if you tell anyone I used that expression I will hurt you.” She added, giving the other girl a stern look. “She’s just like a puppy you know? You can’t help but think it’s cute and adorable, right? Like, even the toughest, hardest, dudes make baby noises at puppies. Your sister is like that to me I guess, I think she’s like the cutest shit ever. But she’s got Frankie.” She was rambling now, it was definitely time to shut up.
She tried to shrug it off as best she could, hoping that Sera hadn’t noticed anything. Luckily her filthy habit of blushing when there was mention of Tatum seemed to behave it’s self this time. Although, she did feel a bit flushed and hoped that Sera didn’t notice. It would be bad enough if she could just pick it out like that, Tatum may be an oblivious bystander but there were people who wouldn’t be so clueless.
Mackenzie bobbed her head in agreement, “Yeah, plus she was like, extremely interested you know? It could potentially get messy. Girl got way too attached for just getting a phone number.” She had rules to go by when it came to picking up women, the clingy ones never made the cut. “I don’t really do attachment.”
