"Twenty-four hours. We'll start and end on the same hour of your choice," Tatum suggested coyly, enjoying a taste of the upperhand for once. It didn't happen often, and she had to take what she could get. It didn't take a genius to know the spot Mackenzie was caught between. Tatum knew how she acted around Hunter and other people. "Unless you don't think you can handle it, I like.. understand."
When Mackenzie winked at her, Tatum did her best disapproving frown, giving a quick roll of her eyes in response. "See? It's been ten seconds, and you're already back at it," she teased. "You know, you rip on me more than like.. any other dickhead in this whole school, when you really think about it. And you're still like, my best friend. What's up with that?"
Tatum seemed pretty pleased with herself on the subject of passwords, but when Mackenzie unveiled her back-up plan, the red haired girl's face faltered for just a moment. "What makes you think Frankie knows my password?" she asked slowly, trying to play it some sort of cool. "She's not really into like, technology. Maybe she forgot. If I ever told her at all. Maybe I'll take it to the grave?"
