	Characters: Akio and Sibyl Setting: April 29, afternoon; Academy, then Akio's home in Tyler Content: SFW for now, maybe some mild swearing Summary: Akio has invited Sibyl to his family's home for some of break Akio had been nervous asking Sibyl to come home with him for a portion of the break, but he wanted to include her in something he knew she had never been involved in before. Being a part of a family celebration was something he wanted to give her, and he was glad she had accepted. Around 1:00pm, he had checked and double checked his bags. He was so nervous, he was sure he had forgotten something. He wanted to impress her, though he really shouldn't have these feelings. He was almost positive she didn't feel the same. He couldn't stop it, though, the heart racing he felt whenever she drew near... or when he heard her voice. She was one of the most amazingly, brilliantly, beautiful women he had ever had the privilege to become friends with. And... Rowan had given him some things to mull over. At their appointed time, he pulled his backpack over his shoulder and hauled his duffel bag to the common room to meet Sibyl. His palms were sweaty, but he tried to relax. This was Sibs, his best friend for so many years. He was excited to spend a weekend with her, and he attempted to let that excitement overcome the nervousness as he awaited Sibs. The excitement was undeniable. Sibyl was packed and ready long before she actually needed to be and triple checked to make sure she had everything she would need for the weekend. Akio's offer to spend the weekend at his house had come as a surprise but she was no less excited. Not only did she get to spend the weekend with her best friend and crush, but she got to spend it with a family. Granted, it wasn't her family but it was better than sitting around campus.

Sibyl rose from her place on the bed when it neared the arranged time, picking up her duffel bad and slinging that over her shoulder. It was a surprise she didn't hop down the steps to the common room. Seeing Akio already waiting for her, she let a wide smile over her face. "Hey, Fox."

He turned when he heard her coming down the stairs, watching her as she came. She was breathtaking, as always. He realized he was beaming when he saw her face light up with a similar smile. He always felt like blushing at that particular nickname, but liked it no less for that. It was unique to her, and he enjoyed hearing her say it nonetheless.

"Sibs," he said, inclining his head. When she reached him, he wrapped his arms around her in a friendly hug, though he probably lingered too long for it to be considered completely friendly. "You ready to go?" he asked once he had pulled away.

Sibyl moved into that hug with ease and she really didn't notice that it was any longer than any other hug. At least from him.

She gave a sure nod when he asked. "Oh, I came ready." Perhaps it was just a little too obvious that she was very happy and excited to be going along with him. She waited on his lead as he knew where he was going and how, all she had to do is follow along behind.

He smiled brightly before he lead the way from the common room. They would be traveling via floo network, so he headed to the fireplace they would be using. Once there, he handed her some of the floo powder and winked. "Our destination is 'Scaliwags in Tyler, Texas'," he said. They would be walking from there to his family home. His dad didn't like people to just appear in the fireplace at home, so they would go to the next closest thing.
