Characters: Ciaran and OPEN
Setting: CCI grounds
Content: TBC
Summary: C makes an attempt to straighten up and fly right after a run-in with some Guinness-flavoured turbulence.

He was trying to behave. Ciaran had spent the first half of last week recovering from his 72 hour St Patrick's Day bender and the second half of the week reeling from the multitude of bollockings he had received for said bender. His teachers were not happy. His parents were not happy. Together, they made damn sure that there was no way in hell for Ciaran to be happy either.

His mother, who had taken to sending him a howler every morning just to remind him that her anger would only leave God's earth when she did, was still a bit of an issue, but at least his spells in detention had been served. Now he was free to do with his afternoons as he wished...just as long as that didn't involve getting into any kind of bother with anybody. Ever.

Throwing his bag down, he took shade under a tree and dug out his sketchbook to finish off something he'd been working on in class. Couldn't get in trouble if you were drawing, could you?

Quinn was, quite frankly, bored. Again. Things around the school seemed to be rather dull lately except for the fact that there was some sort of missing sock epidemic. So far it hadn't affected her, so it really didn't matter all that much.

There was very little going on out in the commons as well. That was hardly surprising, but one could hope. It was during times like this that Quinn either ended up doing something fairly stupid, ended up drunk for the sake of it, or ended up bothering someone.

When she saw some one sitting beside a tree, she decided that she'd start on the bothering route. It was something to keep her briefly occupied, at least. Walking on over to Ciaran, Quinn quirked her head to the side and inquired, "Drawing? Something interesting, I hope."

Ciaran looked up. His most recent assignment was to draw something based on the theme of 'beginnings'. For his, Ciaran had decided to draw a newly-hatched Romanian Longhorn; something he'd seen several years ago when his uncle, Emil, had taken him to the dragon reserve where he worked. It was easier to work on than the still life he'd begun in the afterschool club. If one more asshole moved that stuffed owl he was going to take their head off.

"Just something for class," he shrugged. "It's my assignment."
