Just as she usually did whenever the Ciccarelli family sent a care package, Brody appeared over Vinnie's shoulder shortly after he settled down to eat. Just the smell of the breadsticks alone was enough to bring her from a mile away, Vinnie's mother made the best bread that Brody had ever tasted. Combine that with everything else delicious that she packed in with it? There was nothing better.
Sometimes she felt a little like a mooch, but then there was the fact that since she was going to be hanging around Vinnie anyway, she might as well enjoy all of the perks.
Sliding the chair across from him without a shred of hesitation, the red haired girl fixed him with a serious look. "Is that straight up prosciutto? Because I will take my top off like, right now for a bite," she joked, grinning at him.
She had been meaning to catch up with Vinnie for a while anyway. She had wanted to ask him to the Valentines dance, but had backed out at the last minute after her brother ridiculed her mercilessly about how a girl can't ask a boy to a dance. It would emasculate him, according to Shane. She had made him chocolates for Valentines day too, but after all of the ridicule from said brother, she had never sent those either. They were still in her room, under strict protection from a freshness charm, just waiting to be eaten.
Maybe she'd give them to him later, if this went well.
