Alex had dressed rather casually and strolled in a little while after the dance. Actually, he'd really only remembered about it when he came back to the room while Brian was leaving.

As he sauntered in, he glanced around, taking in who was there. When his eyes landed on Brian standing nearby, he couldn't help rolling his eyes a little. He'd already seen the fake flowers, but he really looked kind of ridiculous just standing there and holding them.

Pushing his hands in his pockets, he ambled over to his roommate.

"You going to actually go in and look for her or are you just going to stand here like an idiot?"

"I have to, to think of what to tell her." He said softly, turning to look at Alex a bit skeptically. "Can't just say anything. Has to be something perfect."

Something like 'hello, these are for you. Your eyes are pretty.' Only, it needed to sound less like he was a stalker. Really.
