Summary Jenny runs into Charlie and they have a chat


Since Christmas Charlie had been avoiding a certain tiny, blonde someone. That person was Jenny, and so far he'd doing a fine job of avoiding anywhere where she might be. It had all started at the Snowflake Ball, when Jenny had been having that fit and he had been getting high. Or getting to know Amber, he wasn't sure of the specifics. Meanwhile she had needed help and he wasn't there. He hadn't spoken to her since, save one text message, and the longer it had been the easier it got to not feel so guilty.

After class he had got dressed, intending to do some tuning on his car but as usual he had run into a few buddies and they were now hanging in the parking lot, shooting the shit about cars and women. Leaning on the hood of his car, surrounded by his friends, he hadn't noticed her until it was too late. Eyes widening he ducked down slightly, covering his face with his hand on the pretense of messing with his hair. He hoped she hadn't seen him.
