Erica made a mock gasp, lifting a hand to cover her mouth as she stared wide-eyed at Colby. "My little girl!" she managed, freeing her hand long enough to wave it in Colby's direction. "You're all grown up!"

It didn't take long at all for Erica's expression to go serious, scooting up on the bed as she spoke. "How was he? Was he huge?"
