Summary: After distressing couple days Meka turns to an old comfort, an old secret... and embarrassingly enough she is discovered.

It had been three years since she had even considered dancing again, it was a little terrifying, a little embarrassing but she needed something... anything to just deal with the things in her life. She needed another creative outlet, she needed to feel connected to her mother again.

Later on Saturday morning, when she was sure no one would be at the dance hall, she walked over with her i-pod and speakers and set herself up. It was quiet except for the lull of Blackbird by the Beatles and Meka's own steady breathing. She stood in the middle of the room while the song played, staring at her own feet.

"I can't do this," she said quietly. She started walking toward her speakers but stopped. And just as easily as she had derailed herself, she started dancing, letting her body move freely about the dance floor. Her feet were clumsy, her body was not as flexible as it had been three years ago, her technique was not up to par but the intent was true, the feeling... it was like no other time she had danced. She wasn't disappointed in herself, she wasn't ashamed of herself, she was free.

Completely lost in her own little world of movement and sound she didn't notice that she was no longer alone, in fact she had no idea how long the other person had been there.
