Characters Sim and Jake Setting Monday just after class Content Mild swearing Summary Sim and Jake have a little chat Whoever decided Latin last thing on a Monday was a cruel cruel person. At least, in Sim's eyes they were. No matter how hard he concentrated (which frankly wasn't very) the words just didn't sink in. Most of the lesson was spent being repremanded or disruptive and usually culminated in having a trip to Pendragon's office. Luckily today hadn't ended like that, and gathering his dog-eared books Sim exited the classroom, bag slung over one shoulder and a cigarette already popped into his mouth. With a sigh he reached the open air and made a bee-line for the woods. They were safe now after whatever that creature was had been caught in Sonnier, he had decided. In fact since Leon's attack he had been using the woods frequently without trouble. Staying on the outskirts he perched on a fallen tree trunk and emptied the contents of his bag, rooting through a plethora of crap for his lighter. He let out an unamused sigh when it wasn't in there. Maybe Gray had borrowed it this morning, that sneaky bastard. Resigning himself to the trapse back up to LaLaurie dorms, he looked in their direction to find his view blocked by another boy. "Got a lighter bro?"
