"As you wish," he replied tartly and stepped back putting a safe distance between them. Not that he would mind the next slap, kick, or punch. He figured she could use the space. He didn't want to turn around and walk away though. That would be an incredibly stupid move with this particular predator. He watched her with interest while she decided what she wanted to do.
