Rike felt slightly awkward as she walked into the hall. She had realized, belatedly, that her costume was somewhat in the odder realm of get ups. She wasn't a hot nurse or a cool ninja or anything else that you could assume teenagers would actually want to wear. She was, in fact, apparently dressed up as a mouse. She had large white ears and a yellow bow in her hair, a yellow dress, and large paws for her shoes.

She'd gone for fun and adorable. She felt a little silly.

She walked over to the refreshments, mouse tail swinging behind her, charmed onto her dress. Pumpkin juice would help, hopefully.

Rowan had gotten to the festivities on the early side, in order to check out all the great things going on outside. There were little games, a bonfire, great refreshments, and just a fun atmosphere all around. The haunted forest she decided to stay away from for the time being since she didn't want to scream and look like a fool this early in the evening. Instead, she walked around getting a feel for the layout of things, and trying to ignore some of the looks she was getting in her costume from some of the people around her.

Making her way over to the refreshments after a little bit, she saw a rather cute looking costume. "Happy Halloween, Rike! Great costume!"

Meandering about, Vinnie made his way over to the festivities for the evening. Halloween was always a good time in his book, and he loved the chance to dress in costume. He especially liked to see what other people were wearing for the occasion. Seeing people being creative and expressing themselves was really cool to him.

Making his way over to the refreshments outside, Vinnie looked at what the administration and party planners had set up for them and smiled. This was going to be a great party. Making sure not to bump anybody too hard, and thankful that he was in an outfit that wasn't too wide or too complicated, Vinnie went to get himself a drink.

As usual, Conor was enthusiastic. A little more so than usual. It was probably all the vegan-friendly Halloween candy he'd managed to get his hands on over the course of the afternoon. So when he spotted his friend dressed as... Elvis, he was a little more thrilled than he should be. Or was it James Dean? ...Pony Boy, maybe? But who the hell dressed up as a character from The Outsiders?

"Dude! Dude dude dude!" Conor ran over to Vinnie, his hands in the air. Nevermind that he was dressed as Spider-man, and was practically unrecognizable. "Your costume is awesome! Who are you dressed a--Oh, I know! EEEEEYYYYYYY!"

The first hour had gone by with her checking out the various things to do at the celebrations this year. Most of it was the same old crap, though with different decorations and different locations. Then again, it was the same old crap off campus too.

After grabbing a bit of food and a drink, consuming both, she began to make a couple rounds around the paths of the commons. Naturally, Quinn was skating at a relaxed pace through the crowd, being that she was decked out as a Roller Derby girl.

Mostly she was looking for people she knew as she skated along, occasionally deciding to push a younger student out of her way instead of go around them. Especially if they were just standing there making themselves easy targets. Her attention was drawn by some loud noise off to the side and when she turned back, Quinn found that she was far too close to someone to go around. So, like with the younger students, she did the next best thing: ducked low and touched her skate before bringing her shoulder into their side to knock them over. Standard Derby move, really.

Sam was taking it easy, strolling through the Commons and just waiting for the big event to go down at eleven. He had already enjoyed the plethora of Halloween snacks and was just taking a sip from his pumpkin juice when he felt himself being completely thrown. He tumbled over, his pumpkin juice splattering down someone's back. "Shiiiiiiiiiit!"

He landed hard on his hip and quickly pushed himself up to look at his assailant. He wiped his pants and grinned up at the pretty girl. "Hey, pretty nice shove."

The Tardis certainly was handy.

Casey stuffed the normal Tardis designed cookie jar full of pumpkin cookies taken from one of the snack setups on the commons and began to meander around. Every now and then he munched on one himself, and randomly offered them to people he passed. Just to be weird.

The idea to be the Tenth Doctor had to be one of his better costumes yet, and he certainly strode around with the confidence of that particular doctor. He came to stand near the bonfire, watching the flames move and light up that part of campus.

He only stood there for a moment before opening the Tardis once again and extending it to the person standing next to him. "Cookie?"

Rowan was having a blast. There had been dancing already, and she had tried her best at bobbing for apples. Even though she just ended up with a wet face, it was still good for a laugh. Especially since she certainly wasn't the only one.

After drying off a bit, Rowan went over to the bonfire, set up away from the trees so taht there wasn't any chance that something could catch fire by accident. Sitting on one of the logs brought over for such a purpose, Rowan smoothed out her skirt and looked around at the other revelers.

Adelaide sat down next to her. She had been following Rowan with her eyes for a few minutes now, trying to work out her costume. She couldn't figure it out though, so she just asked outright. "Zombie Marilyn?"

Sunny had been dancing with a group of friends in her bumblebee get up when she stopped off to get a drink of pumpkin juice at the refreshments table. She downed the first glass and then poured herself another, she took one sip and started ambling toward the small bonfire.

Tonight sure was a lot of fun already. He'd gotten here on the early side for once and made his way around, flirting with many costumed students. As well as a couple of teachers. Tonight was a night for fun and mischief and Vinnie didn't think that he was going to feel any repercussions from this one.

Taking out his comb to fix his hair, Vinnie stepped out onto one of the paths that went through the commons, enjoying the night air. The only way this could get better for him would be to have a beautiful girl on his arm.

Quinn had been absently rolling around the commons again, looking at some more costumes of her fellow students. Most of them were utter crap, really. Some were really good. Even so, she was paying far more attention to them than she was to where she was going.

Her mental commentary stopped as Vinnie got what he wanted, in a strange way. Quinn skated right into them and took the both of them down to the ground. Not only did Vinnie end up with a beautiful girl on his arm, he had one practically on top of him, stunned for a moment in surprise before she found the ground to put her hands down and lift her upper half up to see what the hell just happened.

Meka had been at the party a long time and was continuously sneaking into the woods to take sips from her flask. By now she was pretty drunk and bouncing around in her wonder woman costume. She found an ideal spot in the haunted woods to slip behind a charmed display to light up a cigarette and enjoy another drink from her flask.

At the very last second, Adelaide decided she didn't like her costume. Why the hell was she dressed like a referee? No one liked referees! Especially not her! She sulked and whined and agonized over it, but really had nothing else costumey to wear so it would have to do.

She tugged her socks up over her knees again-- her attempt at charming them to stay up had failed miserably. "I'm a fuckin' referee," she grumbled, pouting and swinging her whistle around.

Leon was late. Mostly because he and Addy had spent most of the night (well, Addy spent the time while he waited patiently) trying to find a new outfit before giving up. Though, honestly, he would rather be in his room reading, watching a movie, getting high, getting laid. Just something other than standing in front of a bunch of people dressed as a Chelsea footballer. Not that he looked terrible, it was just...

Well it wasn't all that grand when look at some of the others.

Shaking his head a little, he bounced his football once or twice before heading toward the snack table to at least get a drink. Hopefully it wasn't still too early for someone to have spiked it.

It had been a good night so far, Halloween was one of Ella's favourites. This year her and Jenny had gone matched, as they had done ever year since they had been born practically. She was outside taking a breather and just trying to guess who was who in their costumes, taking off her hat and fiddling with it in her hands.

At eleven o'clock the headless horseman does one lap around the Commons carrying the Headmistresses head in his arms. There are some pretty rad sound effects and smells. It causes quite the scene and students definitely took notice.

She had been dancing when she heard a shriek behind her, she turned and looked to see the headless horseman prancing through the commons. "Holy shit!" she pointed at the illusion with one hand and grabbed the closest shoulder.

Apple had been passing around apples and jolly ranchers all night in the spirit of his Johnny Appleseed costume. After making the rounds and causing trouble he decided to sneak off to the woods for a smoke and perhaps a little chat. He lit up a blunt and slumped down against a tree.
