"I had an idea, yea. I'm pretty sure it can be done, though we'd need to figure out how. Mari wanted to help out too." He'd pause for a moment and think of how to properly word it.

"Basically, an illusion. One that looked real, sounded real, smelled real, but was immaterial and completely harmless." That way, no one was going to get into any serious trouble. "The headless horseman, specifically. Doesn't matter to me if it has no head or a pumpkin head, but in it's arm should be like... the Headmistress' head or something. Big ass scary dude. Big ass scary horse."

"Dude," Sam took a minute to digest the plan. "That's brilliant. That is sooooo brilliant! I have an amazing fog potion that we can use!" he said excitedly, grabbing a notebook to write down a few things.

"Smells I got covered," he added with a grin, scribbling down a few more things. "With the three of us we could definitely make it work."

He smiled. Keegan loved it when his ideas were brilliant. "I remember reading somewhere about anchor objects, and we might need one for something of this capacity. I've got an old Headless Horseman figuring lying around somewhere, and I can see if I can find that spell again."

"I figure we'll need to pin the image down before we anchor, but I'll have to see." Keegan watched Sam as he scribbled stuff down, and was rather glad he had a good memory when it came to matters of interest. "This is going to be awesome."

"Oh man, this sounds awesome," Sam grinned. "We can do a few practice runs off campus. I know a couple places where we wouldn't get caught."

"Oh, this is going to top any other Halloween prank ever," he leaned back. "The sounds, the sounds have to be like piercing and creepy."

Keegan made a face of interest at the mention of a place they could perfect their image and spell, which was a handy thing. If he was caught doing it at his house his parents would interfere. "My aunt has a good spot to do it too, so that's another option."

"Fuck yes. This is going to rock," he nodded to affirm the fact. "Clear thundering hooves, an almost snarling horse - ooh we should give it glowing red eyes - and puffs of smoke or something when it exhaled. Other noises to scare the shit out of people."

"Sweet, we have some options," he grinned. His mother would skin him alive if she knew what he was up to but his dad would give him advice on what they could add to their prank.

"Oh hell yeah! And a bassy and malevolent cackle to top it all off," he smiled widely. "Shit dude, this is brilliant. And the timing has to be perfect. When there are the most people milling about."

"Of course. I figure most of the student body will be around within the second or third hour of the celebration, but we'll see." Keegan said with another nod. "But if I'm thinking of the right spell, we only set a timer for when it goes off after we activate it. So whenever we see an opportunity when there's a bunch of people around, we plant the anchor and activate it, and like... it goes off five minutes later. Enough time for who ever planted it to get the hell out of dodge."

Keegan had definitely been thinking about it and Sam was damn impressed. "Nice," he said drawing out the word. "We should start meeting up after classes next week to get this thing worked out."

Keegan gave a little bit of a smug and proud look. He had been thinking about it enough, and all he needed to do was find the damned book he knew his aunt had somewhere. "After dinner is better, probably. No worrying about clubs at that point. I'll pass it on to Mari."

"Very true." Keegan nodded and went to stand up. The goal of revealing his idea and finding out of it was good enough had been achieved. "I'll let you get back to your musical study there on the floor, man. Plus? Dinner will be on soon."

Sam laughed. "Alright man, I'm stoked for this plan. Let me know first thing," he settled back down on his back and played Keegan out the door. "See ya around bro!"
