Ella huffed and removed all the pins from her hair for the fifth time tonight, grabbed her hairbrush and brushed her hair roughly. "Nothing looks right" she moaned at Jenny, pouting. Usually dances were fun but tonight Ella was finding this one very stressful. In fact it was the first time she'd even gone with a date and being that it happened to also be her best friend, she wanted to look as cute as possible. Except she had cast a critical eye over everything she had tried on so far.

With a groan she threw the brush down and scooped up Maurey, flopping onto her bed she buried her face in his fur. "I'm not going!"
