"It's no big deal, I see you at all the other dances" Ella laughed. But it was different. This time she was actually going with him! Still, she calmed down a little at his question. Clothes. That was something she could focus on.

"Pink" she said without even thinking about it. "Or maybe rainbow? But pink is my favourite" she sighed.

"Pink!" he said cheerfully. "You always look nice in pink! Rainbow would be nice too though," he sputtered. He really had no idea how to talk about fashion. He, for the most part, dressed like an old man, getting most of his fashion sense from his grandfather anyways.

"We will definitely have a lot of fun," he said to reassure himself. "Definitely the two most colorful," he added with a grin. Talking about silly things was starting to calm him down, it was easy to just talk.
