"Really?" he asked, still somewhat panicked, wrapping his long arms around her shoulders. "I can't imagine that no one has ever given such a lovely girl flowers before," he said, his face blushing furiously.

He looked around to make sure no one was around. He was really making an ass of himself and he would prefer to do it in the privacy of his best friend's room. He stepped inside and shoved his hands into his pockets. "You're welcome though, it's the least I could do... not that I felt I needed to do I just wanted to... you know..." he pressed his lips firmly shut.
