Hunter had just shot off the last two fireworks from the few she had brought along. She had narrowly escaped the last one exploding in her fist, but everything had worked out for the best, and the blonde was backing up and wiping her hands on the front of her bright yellow dress as she watched the colored sparks exploding in the sky. "This is the best night ever!" she practically screamed, met by enthusiastic noises in response.
With her beer in hand a smile on her face, she almost tripped over Michiko as she was turning to head away from the empty pile of fireworks and head back toward where the bar was still set up. People were thinning out slowly, and she was hoping she could get a blender of mojitos made or something without having to wait in line for an hour.
"Oh hey babe!" she greeted the younger girl cheerfully enough, wincing her eyes shut as Michi threw up again. "Pfft, what a light weight," she teased, unknowingly echoing the other girl's thoughts. Crouching down to her knees, the blonde girl sidled her way up beside her girlfriend and pulled her hair back and away from her face, holding it loosely. With her other hand, she rubbed Michi's face in slow deliberate circles. Long before they had dated, in between dating, and pretty much every party since they had met, they took care of each other at parties. This was just habit, though there was a much more concerned than usual look on the drunken blonde's face.
"Did you drink the worm? Ya never drink the worm.."
