Samir watched Gemma from the cabin porch, quietly smoking. He knew better than to stand in front of hr wand when she was in this mood and his lips quirked into a small smile as the boy fell to the floor.
When the speech was over and everyone disbanded, some standing around talking whilst the students made their way back to the school, Sam walked up to Gemma and gave her a silent applaud. "Even if they aint truly devoted they're going to be too piss scared to do nothin'" he grinned, lighting another cigarette. He'd been chain smoking all day, excited. The school would have noticed he was gone by now, and he was doing well at suppressing any urge to warn his actual friends about what was going to happen. "Tonight is finally the night, sugar."
