Shiloh's wand was safely tucked into her own boot but wanted to see how the other woman did without it. Perhaps it was a bit of a mean test to give someone who had been stuck in jail for the past several months but it was for the cause. That was something Gemma had always admired. Gemma handed Shiloh her wand with a small smile. "I didn't think you would need it but I certainly thought you would like it."
Gemma's eye flicked around. A shot of red sparks went up past the lake. Being stuck on a prison on an island seemed to be the wizard's way of keeping them in line but that wouldn't be enough to keep them in. It was a lake. Child's play. Sure getting around the fact that brooms didn't fly over that portion of the lake had gotten in the way but there were other things that the brilliant aurors hadn't thought of. Gemma shot up red sparks in response and waited just a few seconds to see a small boat already trundling toward them. It bounced right against the shore and Gemma stepped in. "We're meeting them in the forest. They've got to get out before those dumb bastards get caught," she rolled her eyes. "You know how competent they can be." |
