In order to lose her mind in Nox, Shiloh needed to have been in the right state of mind before receiving her sentence. Which she certainly hadn't been. Regret for her actions was practically nonexistent, had been nonexistent at trial. She had spat in the face of one of her victim's dirty mothers, and begged them to take her away, dared them to try to hold her. Some witches and wizards went to Nox and never came out the same again, but Shiloh wasn't like them; she had nothing to lose, and everything to give to her cause. While some inmates were blubbering and crying, proclaiming their innocence and begging to be released everytime a guard walked by, Shiloh just thought long and hard and took it all in. She wasnt about to beg for her freedom like a pathetic animal caught in a trap. They might have had her now, snared her for a moment, but things would resolve themselves. This was what being dedicated was all about, and soon things would right themselves. She knew Gemma was up to something, where ever it was that her fearless leader was by now. When she received word from Gemma on Valentine's day, it was the first genuine smile she had experienced in a good long time. She had known everything would work itself out eventually.

She had been waiting patiently, her visits with her 'cousin' Samir in recent weeks had reassured her that everything was going to go as planned. She just needed to be patient, which wasn't always her strong suit. Shiloh much preferred to act first, think later, but clearly Gemma had put a lot of thought into this escape and Shiloh didn't want to be the one to fuck it all up. And so even as she heard the very first bomb go off somewhere, followed by the confused shouts of guards and their heavy footfalls, she just waited. When Gemma landed at her window, Lo barely flinched, just grinning manically at the other woman. "Friends who set you free are friends indeed," she said happily, stepping back a bit and lifting her arm to shield her face from the explosion as her cell wall got blasted to bits. How long had she been dying to do that? If only she had supplies, or her wand.. oh god, her wand.

With the smoke clearing, the guards still seemed distracted elsewhere, and Shiloh was already grabbing the bag from Gemma and digging inside. She was glad to have real clothes, the Fort Nox robes were insufferable and unflattering. But her wand wasn't in here. "My wand. That idiot-- Angel was supposed to have my wand," Shiloh half-whined, as she hurriedly stripped herself of the Nox outfit and began to dress in her proper clothes. It was nice to have something of her own. "I'll need it," she added, turning her head just as one guard appeared outside of her cell. He opened his mouth to shout for his friends, most likely, but Shiloh simply made a crushing motion with her fist and a flick of her wrist, and the guard fell to the ground, clawing at his throat as if struggling for air. "Or not," she grinned a moment later. Using non-verbal spells at Nox was a no-no. There were charms in place normally, and even if you did get away with pulling one off, it always meant time in solitary and less privileges for the inmate in question. The guards also usually had back-up, but not tonight. She could do whatever she wanted, and no one could punish her, she wasn't looking back.

"We'll meet the others shortly?" Lo asked, turning away from the guard as he continued to struggle to breathe. "I'm bored of this already," she sighed huffily.
