Gemma had delightful plans for the summer, she was working on overdrive to make sure the kids had a nice welcome home present when they returned from summer break. The camping trip was all a part of it though, she could spy, sneak around easily, and even do a little groundwork for recruiting. It would be easy if she fit in. It had taken a while to finally decide who was perfect for the taking but when she narrowed down her options it was easy; big, sweaty Teo or sweet, doe-eyed Jenny Hough. There was no competition. She put Jenny under a sleeping spell the day before and gave Eddy the task of watching after her and knocking her out if she came to. The spell she used was powerful so she was confident that it would last the whole two weeks. A little polyjuice potion and some memory modification and the girl wouldn't even know something was wrong.
Being helpful around camp and setting up was an easy task but it was the damned cheerfulness that killed her. She felt like her face was going to melt off from all the smiling and helpfulness. She even had to talk to a few students about problems they encountered over the summer. She had to restrain herself form taking care of the problem by throwing themselves off a cliff by biting her tongue and nodding. Finally when the students had been sent off to their own tents and fire places, Gemma sidled up next to Samir with a big grin on her face and leaned her head against his shoulder. She looked up at him pouting. "How you been settling in darlin'?" she teased.
