Ellie made the tiniest of surprised sounds when Ace rolled over on her. She smiled up at him and ran her fingers through his hair, watching him. She never imagined they would be able to have such a blissfully normal moment. It made her heart swell and almost brought tears to her eyes. Gemma had nearly ruined this for them.
