Kia had decided to turn a blind eye to all the underage drinking. She definitely didn't approve of her little sister drinking at a bar, but she knew that they would have gone anyway, with or without her. At least this way she was there to keep an eye out if she needed to. What she hadn't intended to do was to let Hunter get her so drunk.

She had been watching her sister dance with Sera, and even if she was a bit worried about how close the two seemed, she was suddenly struck by how grown up her sister had become. Mack had gone from being that mouth little kid to, well, a less mouthy young adult, but Kia could still see how much of a leap her sister had taken. Kia slammed her drink down on the table she was sitting at and stumbled to the bathroom. She wasn't sure how long she stood at the sinks crying before Hunter was suddenly beside her.

She threw herself at the taller girl, wrapping her arms around Hunter's torso. She buried her face into the girl's chest. "N-not Monkey you big oaf!" she scolded through her tears. "You and Mack, y'all are all g-grown up now! D-don't need Kia t-to put a band aid on ya and kiss y-you better no more!"
