Jenny was still feeling a bit on edge with all of the people, she had seen Alex and Max skulking around together which just didn't bode well among other things including a few fights, but she was trying to look on the brightside. Sera had really tried to do something nice for her, and that was what mattered. She didn't notice the brunette approaching her practically until she was in the hug, which returned gently. There was a hesitation to release on her end as well, but she smiled sheepishly as she finally did let the younger girl out of her arms.
"Thanks, it's.. crowded but nice. I kind of figured that part wasn't your idea? Like, all of these people, I mean," Jenny replied, glancing around the room. It was going to be a mess in the morning, and she didn't really know what Sera's plan of action for that was. "Your father is going to have a coronary if he sees this mess," she commented. Perking up a little at the mention of something to drink, the blonde nodded. "I wouldn't mind a Jones.. if you're offering."
"No problem! What kind are you in the mood for?" She smiled offering Jenny her arm to look hers through. "I have grape, blue-raspberry lemonade, and cream soda I think." The brunette offered. They were just out in the fridge in the kitchen, but she'd made sure to charm the bottom crisper, hiding a few from the other guests. It was all for Jenny anyway, it'd hardly be fair she thought if she didn't get to enjoy any of it.
On the way to the kitchen she turned to look at Jenny a bit more serious. "My father's going to flip anyway.. the house.. I'm going to clean it of course, I've already told Hunter she and Mack that they're helping me.. but I think it might be the least of his concerns." She paused for a second, collecting herself. She didn't want to cry now. It was still a little hard to say though, even if she'd already been thinking it over for months and even if she was ready to finally do it. "I've already wrote the letter I`m giving them, after this weekend I`m not coming back here Jen. I won`t be able to." She felt a bit bad for talking so serious, the last thing she wanted to do was ruin Jenny's mood on her birthday. But she thought she should know. |
