Tatum had just been staring up at the ceiling some more, noticing some glow in the dark stars up there and wondering if she would be able to salvage them if she pulled them down, when she heard the door creaking gently as Mack came in. She smiled slowly as the blonde climbed onto the bed, and she scooted back into the embrace, ducking her head under the blonde's chin. "You came," she replied, squinting her eye as Mack kissed her cheek, making it flush a little as she smiled.
"Nothing.. well, I m-mean nothing important.. I'm just, uhm.. like, kind of sad, I guess. I'm r-really gonna miss my house, and like.. my room and stuff," she murmured, trying her best to explain as she figured there was no sense dancing around the subject. Mack would figure out what was up with her probably, whether she just outright told her or if she just held it in like she had been doing most of the night. She had been so focused on packing and moving everything, and trying to keep out of people's way at the party on top of that, this was the first few minutes she had taken to really grieve about leaving everything behind.
"I mean, like.. w-we'd be able to come back here. I think I'll.. keep g-growing, in the backwoods and stuff, s-since dad has no clue anyway.. and I k-know I could come here, but I-- I'm not w-welcome, you know? I'll never c-come back home and have it a-actually be my.. home again. Like, e-everything seems really final now," the redhead went on, biting her lip gently as the older girl nuzzled against her.
"I l-love you too.. sorry I'm s-such a downer."
