Summary: Combo get-together for Mardi Gras and Jenny & Ella's 18th birthday!
When eight o'clock approached, Sera was starting to get a little frantic, running around and trying to make sure everything was perfect and in place for the party. There wasn't really wasn't much else to do, just a few finishing touches really. The cake was in the fridge, the tables in the kitchen and living room were set with matching purple table clothes and lined with snacks, including bite sized peanut butter and banana sandwich, carrot sticks and ketchup, cookies, chips and a ton of candy. She had a bunch of chicken nuggets and other things to cook too once the guests started to arrive, things that she didn't want to get cold. She'd been kind of worried about having enough food for everybody, even sending Hunter to the store to pick up a few more things, but she was pretty sure it'd be fine. She was only expecting about fifteen to twenty people after all, at the very most.
There were pink and purple balloons in every room and tons of beads, streamers and Mardi Gras colors scattered everywhere, and even Hello Kitty shaped ice-cubes for Ella in the punch. Which was of course, alcohol free for Jenny. She really just wanted to throw a party the twins would like, nothing too crazy, it was mostly for their birthday afterall. She hadn't even been that big on the whole Mardi Gras theme at first, especially with Hunter helping out, honestly it just kind of seemed like a recipe for disaster. But she kind of figured Ella might really like it.
She was definitely grateful for their help though. Mack and Hunter had been surprisingly well behaved the entire day. Almost too well behaved, she thought a few times.. maybe she was just being paranoid. They hadn't even fought with with her in a few days about taking adventage of having the house to herself and inviting more people, thus turning it into another typical big drunken bash. She knew that was exactly what, at least Jenny, definitely did not want. Both blondes had been trying to get her to start drinking since about noon though, but that wasn't really so out of the ordinary, especially before a party. Hunter even bought her favorite wine again. She had to stay focused though to make sure everything went as planned. She was even thinking on making fancy non-alcholic cocktails for the guests, in cute martini glasses.
Sera hadn't seen Mack and Hunter in a while but everything was ready, it was possible they took the Floo back to school to get Tatum and Michi or something. Or they may have just been somewhere else around the house. She was just about to finally sit down, taking one last look over the room when simultaneously there was a knock on the door and a puff of green in the fire place. Glancing only for a second at the Floo, she headed to check the door. Who was apparating over?
She pulled the door open, staring into the face of about fifteen people, about half of which she'd never even seen before, and she was sure none of them had recieved an invitation. She'd been pretty specific about the guest list. "What are you doing here? None of you were invited." She protested, trying as best as she could to not let them in the house, but obviously they had no intention at all of listening though, just laughing at her as they walked by and into the living room. Which of course only made her more mad.. maybe not near as mad as Jenny was going to be though.
In the living room, there were more people coming in through the Floo, again only a few people she knew, most of them looking pretty confused themselves. She still hadn't seen Hunter or Mack but she was pretty sure she was going to kill one, if not both of them, once she found them.
