Faith gave Eddie the best smile she could muster and shoved pancakes in her mouth quickly. She looked across at the little girl as much as the little girl looked at her, sometimes meeting her eyes.

She almost choked when the little girl cussed and couldn't help laughing. "I think pancake just came outta my nose" she laughed, wiping her eyes on the sleeve of the hoodie.
