Mackenzie couldn't help but smile as Hunter spoke that sweet promise against her lips. It was everything she could ever hope to hear from the person she loved, and she could feel the tears welling up again. She pressed herself closer to Hunter, feel vulnerable. Hunter was always there, she always had been, even when things were at their darkest in her childhood. Everyone she had ever loved had ended up leaving her in the end, and the promise that she would never leave meant the world to Mackenzie.

"Do you promise?" She asked quietly, pressing a soft kiss to the other girl's lips. "Promise never to leave? I...I can't live without you Hunt, you're my everything."
