"Noooooooooaooooooooo!" Apple dropped to his knees and threw his arms around her knees. He felt like his heart was breaking into a million tiny pieces. "Mackenzie, I love you," he said, his head resting against her legs. "I feeling like I'm dying!"

This was really getting out of hand, Mack was looking around frantically for Hunter to come save her. She wasn't good with distressed people. She shook her leg gently to try and kick the kid off.

"Cut that out," she hissed. Finally just bending down and dragging Apple to his feet. "You are not dying! Jesus kid, we barely even talk to each other!"

Her expression changed from one of irritation to moony as she thought she caught a glimpse of Hunter from across the room. "Besides," she said. "I'm in love with the most gorgeous girl in the world. She's smart and beautiful and perfect! I can't believe we're going to get married!" Mack could feel the tears starting again, and couldn't for the life of her stop them.

"I can't stop," he whispered. "I've never felt this way before about anyone. I just look at you and I know that you're the only person in the whole world I will ever love. Some crazy sophomore chick was all over me earlier and like trying to get in my pants but the only thing I could think was Mackenzie!" He hugged her tightly. "I don't wanna ever let you go girl! I just can't!"

"Hunter is all wrong for you! I'm like... your ideal man!"
