"I do really have them, I do! You don't believe me? I would never tell you a lie," Jenny insisted, taking the glass of punch from him and just holding it tightly as she pouted. "You're not just any dude to me, you're.. you're my soul mate! Don't you feel our souls are like.. calling out to each other!"

Though she was almost tempted by pancakes, her brain quickly reminded her that she was destined to spend her life with this boy, and no amount of delicious breakfast would help the pain of not having him. "No! I'm not-- please, Henny.. just have a drink with me and think about it. Don't leave me, I care about you too!"

"You're just drunk Jenny, you wouldn't be saying it if you weren't. Someone had to have slipped something into your cup..." he sighed and nodded.

"I'll have a drink with you but I'm in love with Ella. You know that and in the morning it will all make sense," he poured himself a glass of punch and took a small sip. Turning back to Jenny he took a deep breath. "So we're going to sober... oh my stars..."

How had he not seen it before? She was perfect. "You're right," he set the cup on the table and took a step closer to Jenny. "You're totally my soul mate."

"I'm not drunk, silly!" Jenny insisted, shaking her head at him. "I don't drink, and this is all the truth! I mean every word!"

She watched him take a sip of his punch, before taking the cup right from where he put it down and finishing it off. The stuff really was delicious, and she was already pouring them more. "Right?" she giggled, stepping a closer as he did, leaning in a bit to that their noses were brushing together. "We're super cute!"

"I can't believe I've been so foolish this whole time," he said brushing his hand against her cheek gently. "You're absolutely perfect. We are super cute! Hey! Do you wanna play chess?! Cause we should totally play chess!"

"That's what I was thinking!" Jenny gasped, abandoning her punch in order to grab both of Hendrix's hands, swinging their connected arms in between them. "That's why we are, like.. so meant for each other. It's like you can read my mind, Henny!"

Giggling a bit, she leaned in and spoke to him seriously. "We should play chess in our undies."

He let her swing his arms happily, grinning the whole time like an idiot. "It totally is," he sighed contentedly. "We were totally meant to be together Jenny. I sure am sorry it took this long for me to realize. It's always been you baby."

He giggled, flushing instantly. "Like strip chess?" he picked up the cup and swallowed the last of it. "We could totally do that!"

"We're a perfect match. Like, two puzzle pieces. I wanna be a corner piece," she giggled, their arms still swinging happily between them. She was more than content to just stand there, staring into his eyes and grinning.

"Exactly like strip chess!" she replied, biting her lip a little. "Maybe I'll let you win!"

"Can I still be the big spoon even though you're the corner piece?" he asked blushing slightly.

"When can we go?! When can we play?" his eyes got bigger. "I wore funny briefs tonight," he giggled.

"You can be my big spoon every time!" Jenny insisted enthusiastically. "And you can spoon me anytime!"

Unable to keep herself from giggling, the blonde freed one hand and clapped it over her mouth. "Let's go now! You're never gonna believe what I wore," she giggled back, blushing. "I hope you think it's cute."

He pulled her closer, hugging her tight. "I love being the big spoon," he kissed the top of her head and started swaying back and forth.

When she mentioned leaving he almost jumped. "Okay!" he agreed enthusiastically. "Jenny, anything you wear would be cute," he giggled. He took her hand. "Let's go!" he said already heading for the exit.

"You're just being nice," Jenny shot back quietly, squeezing his hand and sticking close against his side as they made their way toward the doors. He was so tall, he was like her knight in shining armor or something!

"But flattery will get you everywhere," she giggled, glancing up at him briefly before looking away with flushed cheeks.

"No," he cooed. "It's the truth, I'm not just being nice. You're like... the best thing that has ever happened to me. No lie."

He walked a little more quickly, eager to leave the dance and get back to her room. "Then consider me the flatter-er," he giggled, bending down to kiss her cheek.

"Me too," Jenny gasped, feeling herself getting teared up at thought of how her life had been before, without him. "You've always taken such good care of me, even when scary things happen on campus.. I'm so glad when I have you! You're my one true love, Henny!"

When he kissed her cheek, she giggled again, stalling their walking for a moment by grabbing his hands. She stood on her tip-toes, leaning up for a kiss.

"Jenny..." he said affectionately. "Jenny and Henny," he giggled at the sound of it. "We're totally meant to be together forever."

He looked down at her when she stopped moving, then running his fingers into her hair and leaned down to meet her for a kiss. He pulled her closer as he kissed her, lingering there for a while.

"Seriously! How perfect. If your names rhyme perfectly like that then you just simply have to be a couple! Or if your names sound cool mashed together, like Brangelina.. we can be like, Henifer. Or Jendrix. Cute, right?"

Snuggling close as he kissed her, she was unable to keep herself from giggling a little. Holding the front of his sweater, she could barely resist playing with his bowtie, it just looked so cute on him. "I think," she whispered, a shy smile crossing her lips. "that I am so, so totally falling for you."

He giggled. "Henifer," he couldn't even stop himself. "It's so perfect."

"I am totally falling for you too," he said breathlessly. Wrapping his arm around her once more, he headed again for Quirank. Chess was sounding better and better the closer they got. "I'm so lucky I finally found you."
