There was really no way to gently take what the brunette was telling her, and Jenny was just barely managed to hold herself together, feeling a familiar sinking pain in her chest as she watched the younger girl sobbing in front of her. She was a mess, a complete mess, worse than Jenny had ever seen her. It wasn't as if Sera had never cried in front of her before, but never quite like this. She was hurting bad, and despite that, Jenny could still feel irritation bubbling up inside of her, tinging her hurt.
"Then he's no dad! He's no family! If he was a proper dad, then he wouldn't-- don't c-compare it, you can't compare this because Ella would never put me in a position like that. My father would never do that to me, he just-- Sera, please!" she burst out, motioning desperately with her hands as she spoke, watching the other girl closely. "You don't have to afraid of him," she finished dejectedly.
"I know you.. I know he's your dad, I know you love your family, but baby you have to understand like.. that's not what a dad should do. No matter what, or what you do, he should.. he should love you. I do think family comes first, but only when your family isn't.. manipulating you with fear! And that's exactly what he's doing to you! He doesn't even know it, but he-- he is, it's not fair. Just come with me, please?" she pleaded, looking at Sera seriously.
"Come with me and w-we'll tell my mom everything and explain it all and we'll.. do something. You don't need him. Not if he can't accept who you are! You're so-- you're so you, you can't let someone take away your identity. Isn't that what we're always saying? Isn't that what it's all about?"
