Not really having much choice as her chin was tipped up an inch or two so that they could see each other, the blonde was still pouting. "I know, I just.. it really sucks, it was my first big event," she murmured. "And I didn't even help anybody cause I was just- focused like, on mom and dad. Especially dad," she added.

It was hard not to crack a little smile as Sera joked with her, and she lost the battle, smiling weakly and ducking her head under the younger girl's chin again. "Well, I dunno about the sex tape, not really my thing.. but I have no comment regarding the treasury or the six new pairs of purple sneakers hidden under my bed," she joked back, loosely looping her arms around Sera's waist as she leaned against her.

"I love you," she added suddenly, lifting her head just a little. "I'm glad you're okay but.. your dad.."

She didn't really have to say more. She had never seen either of Sera's parents angry with her, being that the infamous 'rebellion' stage had been before her time. But it sounded like he was pretty angry now, and it was just something else that was sort of her fault. She had started the fight over looking for her, which made Jenny's heart sink a little. "You're okay though, right? He'll be gone tomorrow morning.. or tonight maybe even!"

Sera couldn't help but giggle when her girlfriend joked about the sneakers. She knew Jenny would never actually do something like that. She leaned towards the edge of the bed pretending to peek. "If you did you better have bought me a few pairs too." She laughed again, grabbing Jenny's side and squeezing little as she rolled back towards her.

She looked up at the blond suddenly, looking a lot more serious now. "I love you too Jen. I was so worried about you, I'll I wanted to do was see you and make sure you were or okay and..your dad." She let out a sigh, letting everything kind of spill out at once.

"I know I shouldn't have yelled at him,I didn't even say anything about like us he just thinks you're my best friend but I said you really needed me.. he didn't catch on, I'll live another day but I was still like really disrespectful.. and in front of a whole lot of people.. I'm okay though, yeah." She stopped with a huff, finally allowing herself a breath.

"Would I go shopping and forget about my boo?" Jenny joked back, already starting to chill out a little bit and feel somewhat better. It was easier to be in Sera's room than out in the school, seeing the looks that everyone had on their faces.

She straightened up a little, her head tipped up still to listen as Sera spoke and explained everything to her. Her arms were still looped around the brunette, and her hands gently rubbed her back through her shirt as she spoke. "It's okay, we'll.. it'll blow over, right? It has to, because.. it just does. He'll get over it, and we'll.. I mean, the school will take care of this. We'll increase patrols. We'll do whatever, right? We'll make it right."

"I guess not." Sera grinned, kissing her girlfriend lightly on the nose, having to lean down just a bit to reach the shorter girl. "You better not get caught though little missy 'cause I'll get in trouble for not reporting you." She giggled, wrapping her arms around the blond and squeezing back.

She pulled back just enough to look at Jenny again, letting go of her waist with one hand which she use to gently lift the shorter girls chin up slightly. Her eyes met Jenny's and she held them there. "Yeah it'll be okay. I've done a lot worse and so have the twins and he gets over it. It just sometimes takes him a few days, that's all." Sera shrugged, averting her eyes from Jenny's for just a second. It may not have been the first time but it had been a while since she had argued with him like that.

She shrugged again forcing a smile. "It would have taken him a lot longer than a few days to forgive me if I let it spill about us though." She was frowning slightly now but still trying to look at the blond. "I'm glad I stead mostly under control, I almost told him Jen. I don't even want to imagine what would happened." Letting her hand slide down Jenny's neck, resting it on her shoulder she leaned her head against, tearing up a little. She was trying to be the strong one but it was hard.

"Yeah." She added, lifting her head for a second. "They'll figure out what happened today though. Sato knows what he's doing, we'll be okay." Her head fell back against Jenny's shoulder, explosions seemed slightly less important to Sera right now when all she could think about was that at some point her father would find out and probably disown her.

"You wouldn't report me," Jenny assured her, smiling weakly as her eyes met Sera's. She felt a bit reassured at first, but it quickly turned to a feeling of dread in her stomach as the brunette went on to mention how bad it could have been if she had really slipped up. So much as Jenny hated to admit it, she knew the reason that the idea of slipping up scared them so much was because eventually it was going to happen.

They were out to everyone at school, even to Sera's mother, to everyone except for her father and they could only keep him in the dark from the rest of the world for so long. If they didn't slip up, eventually someone else would. It would theoretically be easier to just have Sera tell him now, before someone else did, but Jenny had a feeling they both knew that wouldn't happen. Not anytime soon at least. There was a reason Tatum lived her life in such denial and panic all of the time, after all.

She sighed a little as Sera leaned against her, the blonde's hand moving up instinctively to rub the younger girl's back as she rested on her. "It's okay baby," she agreed, nodding a bit and feeling better when the brunette had settled down on her shoulder again. "We have each other no matter what, right? We have us, and we're in love. And that's usually all they need in like, fairy tales and stuff. But I want to be the princess, you have to be the prince or something."

Feeling Jenny's hand rubbing her back Sera felt immediately just a little bit better. The brunette pressed her lips against the blondes neck for a few seconds and lifted her head, her eyes still soaked. "Thanks." She smiled staring at Jenny for a moment without speaking. The blond always seemed to know just how to make her feel better.

She looked back at Jenny, smiling again, and attempting to wipe some of the tears away from her eyes. She was right they did have each other, maybe Paula and Ron would even let her live there in the summers after her father kicked her out or disowned her?

That thought made her want to tear up all over again, she was just starting to get control of herself. She tried to focus on the bright side. "Yeah we have each other of course Jen, always, I'm crazy about you." She couldn't help but crack a smirk, kissing her the shorter girl on the forehead once. "Of course you can be the princess, I wanna be one too though. Who says two princesses can't fall in love? It's about time, right? We should pitch it to Disney or something."

She was glad she could make the younger girl feel a bit better, even if it wasn't much and she couldn't offer much more. Whatever happened down the road would happen, and she had every intention of being there for Sera when it did. Whether it was good, bad, or some mixture in between. She told herself that maybe, just maybe, the Donnelly sisters were being overdramatic. She wanted to believe no parent could kick out their own child, no parent could just put their child out of their life, but she supposed she was living proof that it could happen. Parents were selfish sometimes.

Closing her eyes as Sera kissed her forehead, she nodded a little. "I know you are," she whispered back, smiling weakly. They needed to cheer up, and the brunette's crack about princesses in love was enough to bring the blonde back around. "You're damn right it's about time. I won't hold my breath, but it would be amazing to see some equality!" she replied, before thinking a moment and then scrunching up her face.

"Although the fact that we've only just got a black princess doesn't really fill me with hope on the diversity front.."
