Mackenzie was about to hit the other girl after being shoved when Kia pulled her off the taller girl. Growling again, she scowled at the two of them, her arms crossed. She knew it was a cheap shot but she just snapped when Hunter brought up Tatum. She didn't know why it had made her so aggravated but it had made her blood boil.

When Hunter accused her of starting it, she scoffed as if it was the most ridiculous thing she'd ever heard. "Nuh-uh!" She shot back, sticking out her tongue. "I didn't do 'nothing! You were the one who started it! Talking shit about my love life." She trailed off grumbling, getting herself worked up again.

Kia could feel Mack tensing behind her, like she was going to pounce again. While Kia had been strong enough to pull them off each other when they were younger, the two girls had long since out grown her in height. Not to mention their avid training had made them both much strong than she was. She did the only thing she could really think of to stop her little sister from launching herself back at Hunter. Elbowing Mackenzie as hard as she could in the stomach, she kept her grip on the back of Hunter's shirt.

Mackenzie let out a surprised grunt as she felt Kia's elbow jab into her side. Doubling over in pain, she wheezed and shot a angry glare up at her sister. "The fuck was that for?" She coughed out, still clutching her side as she straightened up a little.

"I didn't want you jumping at Hunter again," Kia said shrugging. "You did start it Kenzie, and now I finished it. Sit back down, both of you, and lets have a nice breakfast together as a civilized family." She released Hunter, and turned to her with her index finger pointing at her threateningly. "And there will be no gloating, got it? Or I'll elbow you too."

Kia shot both of them one last warning look before returning to her seat at the table. She turned to the family sitting nearest them and gave them a cheerful smile. "Lovely morning, isn't it?"
