"She doesn't act like a r-regular bully though," the redhead pouted, closing her eyes for a moment as Sam kissed her forehead. She fought herself to keep from blushing too much, and easily lost. "She's always just.. saying stupid shit and then she apologizes and she just s-shows up everywhere, it's like-- I dunno. It's like she wants to be my.. f-friend but she's talks like an i-idiot when we're together."
Granted, Mackenzie wasn't much better at holding her tongue online either, but at least on the internet Tatum was better able to tell her off. In person, she always stammered her irritated replies out most unconvincingly.
"I wish she'd just find someone else to.. I dunno, do whatever," she murmured. Last she had heard, Mack had plenty of choices of girls around campus. She didn't know what made her special enough to stick out to the blonde. "She makes fun o-of Colin all the time, I guess she'll be pleased that we're like.. on a break. Or whatever."
It was only the second time she had admitted it, other than when her step-mother had brought it up over lunch earlier. She cursed small towns and their knowing everything. Colin's mom herself had told Madeline about their 'little break', but now Sera knew and she knew Hunter, Mack, and the rest of the school would soon hear about it. She wanted to be the first one to tell Sam, by herself, even if she was still awkwardly dancing around the subject.
